As all of you Georgia people know we have had a lot of rain, but we have also seen a lot of something else in Georgia, changes in the way that our Hospital has to function to be able to keep our doors open. This year PTO's have been cut. Staff are flexed much of the time due to changing work load.respiratory Schools closed.
Budget managment has taken top priority.
I can remember that in years past , we could occasionally, even go to a conference.
The rules of doing business seem to change like a leaves blowing in the wind. Procedures that could have once been charged for have gone away. To keep up with CPT, DRG, MSD, RAC and all the other initials is nearly an impossible task.
But you know what? I still love my job even after 40 years
Change will come we just have to adapt. Right folks
