Hello AARC friends,
I have been contacted several times today how to access Linked-in. On the BOTTOM of the home page of AARConnect, you will find the social medial button links including Linked-in. I have reposted a Blog I did in April of this year to tie into the inquiries about social media that I have received since responding to a discussion yeaterday on AARConnect referencing Linked-in. I will be more than happy to connect with you once joined and we can learn from each other.----Michael

Hello AARC friends,
There has been much written on the benefits of social networking in the business world. You can search for articles written on the internet but it is in the everyday news. While many in the business world have refused to "jump on board", the hard reality is that people are inaccessible by other modes of communication especially by phone. The world has spun into electronic media on SMART technology and communication is on the customers own terms of time. So the next time you have trouble getting responses in a timely manner or at all, consider the leading social media networks of Facebook, Linked-In, and Twitter. The AARC has links on all three social media networks. I was not on any of these networks as of 2 years ago, but through experiences as well as article submission and news reporting, I have realized that I must be engaged to remain in my professional position.
I am RRT5436 on Twitter, I have personal and professional FB pages as well as on Linked-In. So for this seasoned Therapist that remembers old school communication from 1971, I have been Mediarized!!!!

Gez!! I keep getting those Link things sent to me.. I answer the phone alot.. and e-mail .. cell phone and text.. now they want to LINK and FACE and TWIT! Hey I used to call folks a TWIT it was not a complement. Is it better now? WELL IS IT!! He he... of course.. its been proclaimed, wars have been reported, censorship has been subverted, electronic hacking has become fad and political folly, have you been hac'd yet? maybe? who knows? sounds like it would be kinda boring to me... So why do I need to be LINKED and TWITTED and FACED.. they don't care what I'm doing, why would they? and who is they anyway? Yeah yeah yeah get connected... but leave me a little electronic space.
