AARC Webinars-Are we really too busy to participate?

Hello AARC friends,
We have found a method that allows staff on duty to participate in Webinars conducted by the AARC. Our hospital department allows the employee to go through the lunch line and recieve a free lunch and we all gather in the department for the presentation. Sure, there may be a Therapist called away, but they plan their day so they can have a lunch and learn. Not only does this allow employees the ability to earn a CEU as an AARC member, but we have a 5-10 minute discussion post presentation in what we learned and how it impacts our operations. I have heard many excuses why folks can not attend these Webinars while on duty, but this approach has improved employee satisfaction while focusing on quality patient outcomes. Employees off duty are encouraged to come but not required.
So I must end with the question: Are we really too busy to participate in our professions sponsored Webinars?

I really think this is a great idea. Hope you won't be offended if we steal it! :-)
And to answer your question... no, we're really not too busy. All RT departments are busy. All therapists and managers are busy. We still fit into our days whatever we prioritize for.
