Asthma Day Camp

Hello!

I am looking to host some sort of asthma day camp for youth in my region (East Tennessee) and I was looking for resources. Also, does anyone know if you need a physician to oversee an event such as this? It will be during Respiratory Care week and I envision different stations for the participants to go through...registration, vital signs, mdi/aerosol instruction, peak flow instruction, development of an action plan, etc. Any input would be appreciated!

I have found a CD-rom that is a game for the older kids that has many famous people narrating and participating in the game. It is called Quest for the Code, are you ready for the Quest? It is presented by The Starlight Star Bright (tm), Children's Foundation. It is an asthma game format, and teaches about asthma. Starlight.org, ph- 800- 315-2580.
Also, entire set of day camp activities can be found at 'Doc Monahan', which is famous for all their materials. Good luck.
