I just have one simple question, all opinions and comments are greatly valued. in 2013 and beyond, will credentials become more of a factor or play a more in depth roll in respiratory??

In the past decade I have seen a shift in Central Illinois where more and more places are requiring RRT. The new grads are given 3-6 months to obtain RRT as well. This is what is best for our profession in my opinion.

As long as the CRT will get you licensed, then that is the only credential that matters (to management).
