So there's been a volcanic eruption in Iceland. I recieved an email this morning that postal delivery has been disrupted in several European countries because of the volcanic ash. The ash in the air over the UK and other countries is cause flight cancellations, so mail (in addition to travellers) is not travelling on schedule. They say the ash could disrupt things for days or weeks, they're not sure.
The volcano erupting is amazing, but the ripple effect just stands out to me. I'm sure we'll be talking about respiratory problems from the ash soon.
Does anyone remember Peg Trabands' speech years ago about the butterfly effect? That's what this made me think of. I guess that shows the power of a great speech.
