I was a Connecticut practitioner for the 40+ years, working in both adult critical care and pediatrics in the past. I started in Western Massachusetts as one of the first therapists with a RT degree. At that time, the night shift was not a scheduled shift but if there were ventilators at the end of the evening shift, I could sleep in with a couple of vent checks overnight. The field has changed so much that new theories and devices grew exponentially.
When my children graduated high school, I returned to school and loved it.
