Does anyone perform infant oximetry studies to qualify infants for home oxygen? If so, do you have a formal protocol you use? Our facility does them, but the physicians are wanting to measure saturations at rest, awake, feeding, diapering, and in a car seat at each 25cc increase or decrease of flow rate. These studies can take hours as you need 10 min of artifact free tracing for little or no reimbursement. I'm trying to find a protocol that may be available to see what others are doing. Thanks!
